I’m currently sitting in a laundromat in Buena Visa, hoping the trail stench will wash out of my disgusting clothes.

I’m almost half way in the CT. This is without a doubt the toughest thing I have ever done. The altitude and the elevation gain and loss are extreme.

It’s beautiful though.

I’ll be back on the trail tomorrow heading for Salida

Edit: 6th August 2022 I jumped on the bus to Salida instead. I twisted my knee last week, and the steep descent the other day caused it to swell up. Thought I’d give it a few days extra rest. The section I’ve skipped had a fair bit of road walking, so I’m not too fussed about missing it.
